Objectives
Our objectives are:
- To provide a range of personalised home care services, which allow the client to choose what is most appropriate for their needs
- To deliver a service which respects the client’s privacy and to cause as little intrusion as possible on the client’s daily life
- To work in partnership with the client or their chosen advocate or representative to develop a personal plan to meet the client’s needs and preferences in a way the client finds acceptable
- To treat clients with dignity and respect at all times
- To promote the health, safety and well-being of every individual, whilst still respecting the individuals right to take risks in their daily life
- To inform every individual of their rights and the choices open to them to allow clients to make informed choices and to be empowered to make their own decisions about their lives
- To actively challenge discrimination, exploitation and abuse wherever we may encounter this
- To encourage individuals to achieve and sustain their full potential to live their life in a way that promotes their independence, self-esteem and personal fulfilment
- To promote effective communication with clients, their family members, advocates or representatives
- To train our staff to promote best practice in every area of their work to allow clients to feel confident that our staff have the necessary skills and expertise to meet their needs
- To foster a culture of open dialogue where complaints are encouraged as a way of improving any aspect of our service
- To operate a rigorous quality assurance programme to ensure our service maintains the standard of excellence we aspire to deliver
