The 2012 event season is opening with CraftTin the Hut, an exhibition of crafts displayed by local experts. This year it is much more than just a show and sale - there will be demonstrations and even opportunities to have a go yourself.
The date is March 18th, a Sunday, doors open at 10.00 and admission is free.
Crafts on show will include; Bag Painting, Chainsaw Sculpting, Patchwork, Claywork, Knitting, Doll Making, and Antler Jewellery. Tea and coffee will be available, but - better than biscuits - there will be pancakes to go with it!
Look out later in the year for the very popular "ArTin the Hut", now in its third year, and a new venture in the visual arts, a Photographic Exhibition for mid-August, possibly to be called PhoTin the Hut to complete the series.
For now, though, just make a note in your diary for CraftTin the Hut on Sunday, March 18th.
