When a maintenance free garden goes wrong
 

The design gardener and installer promised a maintenance free garden when he did this job.   Within 9 months weeds are growing and it looks an eyesore.  The owner is waiting to find out what has gone wrong.

DIAGNOSIS

The installer has examined the work he did and said that the membrane used (the weeds are growing through this) is not suitable for the purpose for which it is intended.   It was supplied by a third party and will be now looked into.

The installer said that another anti-weed membrane would have to laid down.

The matter is on-going.
