Co. Kildare Inter' RR
"There's only one competition that matters and I don't have to tell you what it is" ...........Mick O'Dwyer
Bridget Buckley made the smooth transition from mud to road on Sunday 27th in the Co. Kildare Intermediate Road Race Championship. Bucks has had a fine season on the cross country circuit and stated that she was looking forward to some fast running on the tarmac. The 3k route was a test of speed and Bucks came up trumps with bronze in 11:56. She and her teammates in Celbridge also took home the coveted county title. Mick O is not the only Kerry native to shower success on the Lilywhites.
