Ever green George Maybury travelled south at the weekend to the Premier County and competed at the National Masters Indoor Championships in Nenagh.  The former head of AGSI gave a very solid account of himself on the day.....twice.  George competed in the 0/55 category which is one of the most competitive on the circuit. However despite the stiff opposition George performed heroically, taking two national medals.  He bagged bronze in the 400m and went one better in the 800m taking silver.  And they say you should take it easy when you retire, think someone needs to have a word in his ear !!!!!
