On Saturday last September 25th AGS was represented at the The Lakes 10k in beautiful Blessington by Adrian Tucker, Noel Harrington, Paul Carroll, Owen Keane, and John Burke.  Adrian was first home for the team on the day in 38:04, finishing 3rd in his age category.  Next man across the line was Noel Harrington in 47:04, closely followed by Paul Carroll in 49:58.  Owen Keane ran 50:06 despite a desperate dash over the last 100 yards to try and break the 50 minute barrier. John Burke has increased his mileage of late and it showed as he beat the 51 minute mark by 10 seconds.  AGS was delighted to have such a strong contingent represent us on the day and well done to all.
