Congratulations to George Maybury who captured another medal of note on June 6th in Tullamore.  Speaking to George a few days before travelling he reported that he was confident of attaining a medal in the 1500m race, but was unsure of the colour.  Well no need to worry, as he displayed true grit and a healthy dollop of sheer class in taking gold in the O/55 with a run of 5:09:32.
