Club sailing is generally in the areas of Flowerdale Bay and Kerry Bay.

The times of club sailing sessions are determined by the tides, as the area in Flowerdale Bay around the slipway dries out at low tide.

There is a regular session on Sundays from late April until late September, and, tides permitting,
another on Wednesday evenings.

Big Boat Event courses will be set in this general area depending on prevailing conditions.

Dinghy events generally take place in the more restricted area of Flowerdale Bay and Kerry Bay.

All courses are set on the day according to the conditions, and races started outwith the harbour from a committee boat.
