Post: Volunteer Youth Worker
Reports to: Volunteer Co-ordinator

Duties and Responsibilities
- To contribute to the personal and social development of young people through the provision of informal learning opportunities.
- To help deliver a "Drop In" unstructured youth provision which actively engages Fuse members and is consistently sensitive to their needs and suggestions.
- To assist young people in addressing the issues that affect their lives - providing support, encouragement, information and signposting to other agencies/services as appropriate.
- To ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to and that child protection measures are implemented, according to Fuse's Policies and procedures.
- To work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and undertaking planning, monitoring and evaluating of service delivery.
- Attend staff meetings and undergo training as required.
- Any other duties are requested by the Project Manager for the benefit of Fuse.
