Fuse aims to provide a safe place for young people where they are supported and encouraged to develop as individuals who can contribute positively to their communities. To achieve this aim our strategic objectives for the three years are (from business plan):
- To provide inclusive drop in services in the East End of Glasgow which respond to young people’s needs as they express them
- To provide opportunities for young people to develop their social, personal and employability skills
- To be a valued contributor to the East Glasgow Community, working in partnership with other organisations
Where and what work is done and what’s our record? Fuse is based in Shettleston and serves young people primarily between the ages of 10 and 19. The Fuse facility includes a learning centre, a games room/ ‘gig space’ and an eating/socialising area.
