PROJECTO SEMEAR { SEMEAR PROJECT} is a prevention scheme run by the MEIKLES in the FAVELAs of Sao Paulo BRASIL to stop the younger children moving on to the streets and become STREET KIDS

The object is to allow them stay within the "FAMILY  SITUATION" within the FAVELAs

More recently a Property ..known as CASA SEMEAR {House of SOWING} has been obtained by ABBA and this acts as DAY CENTRE for the children

It is situated in NEUTRAL TERRITORY between 3 FAVELLAs hence the FAMILIES do not feel threatened by moving into another "ENEMY TERRITORY"
