Forth's second league match of the season didn't have an auspicious beginning with news of a Katy Smith's broken finger leaving them a man down against league title holders Glengarry.  Glengarry netted a  quick succession of goals early on and benefitted from being able to bring on fresh players.

In the second half Forth started well with a player borrowed from Glengarry and managed to hold Glengarry scoreless for the first 20 minutes of the half.  At this stage, however, even the weather deserted them and rain began to pour down.  Glengarry capitalised on the demoralising effect of their earlier scores to slot in a few more golas before the end.
