There was a glorious day in Yoker for Forth's first league match of the season.  in the first half of a hard fought match the Forth forward line struggled to make use of a lot of ball cleared by the backs and midfield.  Tir Conaill capitalised on their chances better and managed to get 2 goals in before the end of the half.

Forth managed to apply much more pressure up front in a second half that remained as fast-paced as the first.  Despite a lot of good possesion, however, Forth failed to find the back of the net while Tir Conaill managed to net 3 more goals.
