Our first regular guest night, on 24th June was a great success.   Lots of great singers, and two spots by Julia and Derek under their enigmatic name:  TRIM RIG AND A DOXY.     (Julie informed us that they should possibly edit their name, since the "trim rig" is getting a little portly, and a doxy is an unmarried dockside wench - she being married, should be called a "dell".)

The blend of Juliea`s button mellodeon and Derek`s strong voice is tremendous.   A wonderful marriage of instrument and voice if ever there was one.    Well appreciated on the night, with many a compliment to see them on their way.

We look forward to when they drift casually into our dock once more to deliver a broadside.
