Opening night went fantastically well.   Forty people in the room - capacity, since there are 40 chairs! - and 17 performers, with the wonderful variety that we cheekily expect in a folk club.

Grog was at his superb best.   Beautiful guitar playing, with chords that are ONLY on his guitar.  I am convinced there are none like it on mine.  As usual he had the audience thoroughly entertained, with many a belly laugh (who`d have thought of a song about necrophilliacs could be so funny?).   We will certainly be having him back next year.
