Fleet Car Sales and Passenger Vehicle Disposals

These concerns were founded by Henry Bowen around 1953/55 after leaving Frank Cowley, Fleet Car sales were first at Wolston Grange and then at Dunchurch. For some years there was a partnership with George Colson, Leeds many vehicles sold to FCS and PVD were actually delivered to Colbro. Henry left the company in 1962, Frank Cowley bought the companies in 1963. Henry Bowen spent a few months with Milburn Motors and later joined Mr Charnock at Transport (Passenger Equipment) Ltd, Macclesfield. Henry took his connections with Maidstone and District, City of Oxford and Devon General with him when he joined TPE. Henry died in 1964.
