On this day 13th June 2014 - Private George Frederick Homer

Today 13th June we remember Private George Frederick Homer (19889) who served with the South Staffordshire Regiment.
George was killed on the 13th June 1917 and is buried in the Railway Dugouts Burial Ground (Transport Farm).
He is being commemorated by Jennifer Battersby who has stitched his square which can be seen in the Gallery.
