On this day 7th June 2014 - Captain Frederick Norris

Today 7th June we remember Captain Frederick Norris who served with the Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment) and was killed in action 7th June 1917. He was the son of Walter and Annie Norris, of 123, Brook St., Kennington, London. Frederick is commemorated on the Ypres Menin Gate Memorial. He is commemorated by Gillian Ridpath who has stitched his square which can be seen in the Gallery.
