Today 31st May we remember Stoker 1st Class Thomas Perry (K/25672) of the Royal Navy who lost his life on 31st May 1916 aboard H.M.S. "Queen Mary" during The Battle of Jutland. He is commemorated on the Portsmouth Navy Memorial. He was the son of the late William and Rachel Perry, of Wednesbury and his square which can be viewed in the Gallery has been stitched by Gillian Ridpath. Thank you Gillian.
