Today 30th May we remember Private Frederick John Bartlett (51194) who served with the Worcestershire Regiment. Frederick enlisted in 1917, he sailed for France at the beginning of April 1918 and died there less than two months later, aged 19 years and 1 month on 30th May 1918. He was the son of James and Alice Bartlett, of Swan Green, Lyndhurst, Hants. Frederick is commemorated on the Soissons Memorial. His square has been stitched by Sue Harvey. Sue's square along with a photograph of Frederick which Sue has shared can be viewed in the Gallery. Thank you Sue.
