Hendry was a small firm based in Glasgow in Scotland. The company is well known for manufacturing leather fire helmets. The entire range of leather helmets (except the metropolitan and airport models) were available with white metal, brass or no trim variations although there wasn't a price difference between brass and no trim.
As leather helmets started to go out fo fashion Hendry dabbled in maufacturing a fibreglass fire helmet, that was taken up by a few brigades but sadly was not enough to keep them trading in the fire service market.
