Finches conceded an early 9th minute goal, nicely taken by Elliott Rushforth who was strategically placed, unmarked at the back of the congregated players in the box. Jon Malone took advantage of a fumble by Tom McNelly and slipped the ball over the goal line. In the second half, Matt Lambert found himself in a similar situation as Elliott Rushforth did for Wokers in the 1st half and scored the winner. Yes, folks, it was our turn to win but it was by no means easy. It puts Finches back in 6th place now.
