Freddie Tripp scored after 26 minutes, a searing shot which rocketed into Tom Bryant's net - a cracking goal!

As half-time approached, Harry Swabey cut into the Wasps' penalty area and drove the ball towards the far post low, keeper McGinty allowed the ball to slip through his fingers - into the net - having slowed the ball's progress somewhat. A goal all the same.
