Penn arrived prepared to take the title with a win yesterday.

An early penalty  by Danny Jordan in the 12th minute set the visitors on their way and Adam Davis clinched it in the 21st minute. Finches put up a stout resistance after that, though. Freddie Barron went off early with a hamstring problem but Martin Dixon replaced him with a bit of a spark.

Good passing and challenging play from both sides made a goal free second half quite interesting.

Well done Penn & Tylers Green. Like Finches back in the early days of the merged Leagues, there will be no promotion for P & TG. See them next season.
