Another win at home: Finches reach the top of the table after a 5 - 1 victory over visitors, Old Woodstock Town.

A hat-trick by Greg Alexander and a brace from Freddie Barron kept the Finches in the lead throughout. Greg's penalty for blatant hand-ball started the scoring after 12 minutes were up. His header midway through the 2nd half was topped by his sideways kick to get his 3rd in the 76th minute. Freddie's goals were in between Greg's and the second was when he found himself on the goal-line with a defender paying close attention and his back to the goal - so he back-heeled the ball into the goal mouth!!! Unusual but credit for improvisation on the spot. Callum Green broke through a gap in the Finch defence and rounded the last man before tapping the ball past Josh Baker to gain a consolation goal for Woodstock.
