Finch Reserves were a goal down after 10 minutes when Ascot Utd. Development team number 9, Morgan managed to put the ball beyond the reach of the Finch keeper; the low shot being angled across the box. The first half concluded at 1 - 0 to the visitors. They extended the lead just around the hour when James Burrell put the ball inside the far post. About 10minutes from full-time Finches produced a goal from a tangle in a fairly empty penalty area then in additional time, Ryan Tye created one of his specials from a good longish run to claw back an equaliser.
