An early kick off evolved into a first half with Finches taking the lead then adding to it courtesy of goals by Richard Evans and Josh Masters. Jake Jarvis scored a mid half goal for Mortimer with quite some time left. Finches missed the chance to increase the lead on several occasions with some wide efforts. Having drawn a bye and going further when the opposition dropped out, this latest result puts the boys in the Semi-final of the Reading Junior Cup.
