The great occasion: at least Finches made it to the final at the Madejski Stadium with the opportunity to win the one trophy realistically possible to win. The current champions had other ideas though and soundly won 5 - 0. All goals were valid and uncontroversial, and all good goals at that.

Both clubs made it a pleasant and enjoyable event although disappointment is always the inevitable for the runners-up.
