Delighted to report that the Heritage Lottery have agreed to support our project (purchase and 5 year programme) to the tune of £321k = 67 per cent of the overall costs. This is brilliant news and comes on top of the award by Kiltearn Community Council of an additional £40k. Things are definintely falling into place. Now we await a response from HIE who are looking at financing 20 per cent of the purchase price. Other support is also coming in from local companies eg Technip and we are now appealing to supporters to help fill the gap. (NB Companies giving £500+ will receive special acknowledgement as will individuals giving £50+).
