It is good business practice to codify the way we do things. The business is growing fast and we do not wish to lose our flexibility and open atmosphere, but at the same time we need to act with consistency and fairness when dealing with employees, you have a right to expect that.
This handbook sets out appropriate policies, procedures and practices and explains the way we do things. It should be read in conjunction with your individual contract of employment to gain a full understanding of the basis upon which your employment is operated. It is not intended that the handbook itself is to be regarded as having contractual effect, unless stated otherwise. Nevertheless, its provisions are to be operated and complied with.
Changes and updates will be necessary as business circumstances develop and as employment legislation is amended. Therefore, we shall make the necessary changes from time to time. We shall endeavor to consult employees on major changes and to accommodate employee wishes, but ultimately we reserve the right to change our policies and practices for good business reasons.
