The Elgin Designing Streets Action Group are organising a March on Saturday 12th October, 11.45 am - starting at the grassed area of Glen Moray Drive.

Join us if you think it is wrong that the Moray Council are spending £500,000 a year for the next 30 years to fund this road when the people of Moray are having to endure huge cuts to their services.

A road to nowhere, with no obvious benefit to the people of Moray. (A detailed plan of which can be seen at the Moray Council Exhibition on the 25th and 26th September at the Library. Please go along and fill in the questionnaire)

We intend to march from Glen Moray Drive, along the Wards, across the railway line onto Wards Road, along to Station Road then onto Hay Street and down to Northfield Terrace and along the High Street to the Plain Stones.

We have agreed the route with both the police and the Moray Council. This is to be a peaceful March, with all ages welcome (including dogs). Banners will be given out at the start.

There will be a safety announcement prior to commencement and stewards along the route.

Please come along and let the councillors and council know how Moray feel about this unjustified spend.
