Councillors lost the oppertunity to represent the majority community view in stopping the Western Distributer Road on Wednesday this week.

They voted 14-11 to continue to the next stage - Planning Application at the end of the year.

The council's report was significantly biased and had 'adjusted' the Benefit to Cost Ratio in favour of the road - due to a 4.5million cost reduction estimate.

We urge all those against the proposal to write to councillors to voice concern. It is farcical to suggest the whole economy of Moray is dependant on this small section of raod!
