We have had an offer of assistance, at a greatly reduced cost, from a top firm of engineers based in Manchester. They have offered to come up to Elgin for 2 days to fully assess the planned proposals and undertake a site inspection. Their finidings will form the basis of a report, which will also look at alternatives and design details to be considered.

This Manchester based firm are recognised for their civil works design in keeping with the new policies and are involved in helping councils to understand how these new policies can be introduced successfully. They are asked to reveiw and redesign old style urban roading systems to introduce the new policy principles, in putting residents and safety first.
