A writer with radio, theatre, magazine and performance credits, I also started to make quilts.  It was a brilliant experience and I soon discovered the connection between textiles and texts and the surprising ways they can enhance learning. 

My textile workshops take me to many interesting settings where all kinds of people learn a skill and make something they can use. 

 
Tactile and interactive resources can be used creatively in Primary and Secondary schools, Art Galleries, Museums and Community settings to aid research, maths studies and language, storytelling and teamwork.
