The 2012/13 season has been ground breaking for the EHCB.
The early part of the season was spent preparing for our debut in the Inverness Regional final in the Scottish Festival of Wind Bands.
Joining forces once again with the Caithness Schools' Wind Band, the 40+ ensemble played a 15 minutes programme and was rewarded with a Silver Certificate, an excellent result for a first entry.

The EHCB completed the first part of the season on December 5th with a joint concert with the Inverness Schools' Wind Band in Millburn Academy. Despite the wintery weather, there was an excellent audience who enjoyed some early festive cheer. £270 was raised by a generously supplied raffle and the proceeds were shared between the bands.
After the winter break, the EHCB recommenced rehearsals in mid February 2013. The focus of the work was a programme for the traditional primary schools tour with the Ross-shire Schools' String Orchestra which this took place after the Easter Break. The tour was preceeded this year by an evening concert held for the first time in Dingwall Academy. A generous £140 was made from the raffle.

A standing ovation from Bridgend and Coulhill Primary Schools!
