Hill walkers on Fyrish Hill on the 5th June were somewhat bemused to find that this local landmark had become  an 'extreme' venue for a Rehearsal for the East Highland Concert Band. The intrepid band of Tuba, trombones, horn, trumpets, saxophones. clarininets and flutes proceeded to play out Eye of the Tiger and ,very appropiately, The Great Escape . Many thanks too, to  the willing body of human music stands who held onto the music in the somewhat gusty conditions. Well done to everyone!
