Redwings Aylsham draws a crowd!
A huge ‘thank you’ to everybody who came along to the official opening of our newest centre Redwings Aylsham! Despite the constant threat of rain, over 900 people visited the centre to meet our rescued horses and donkeys, and see Corrie star Kate Ford cut the ribbon!
The day was very special in many ways. Children queued up for the chance to groom rescued residents Cookie, Shaka and Owl - and adoption star Gulliver enjoyed continuous pats and strokes from his fans. We also took the opportunity to launch new adoption stars, Wiggins and Wacko, and the ‘Gangster’ Shetlands into the limelight. The ‘Gangsters’ are named after famous mobsters, including Ronnie and Reggie, and Baby Face Nelson!
