George Allan

Labelled George Allan, I presume these pictures are of Georgina Allan's son who contracted 'sleeping sickness (1918 epidemic) and died young.

The picture on the left is probably Georgina's boy who died of sleepy sickness. When I met him I thought that he had sleeping sickness. That is how I heard the term. In fact it was probably sleepy sickness - a disorder which has no connection with the tsetse fly.
The baby on the right is George - Alistair's brother.

Thanks for the clarification, Andrew. I've removed the photo on the right side of George Dunn. When I scanned them in the photos were together, and I mistakenly assumed that they were the same child.
