Welcome to Drumcharry

Drumcharry is a spacious, centrally heated and airy family home situated in the township of Lochmaddy close to the ferry and all local amenities, arts centre, outdoor centre, village hall, hotels and bus services. We don't allow smoking in the house but there are plenty of sheltered spots in the garden.

On the ground floor is a newly fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and fully functioning Rayburn plus all the usual modern conveniences. A large comfortable lounge with colour television (Freeview) and DVD player. There is a selection of local books and maps, DVDs and games. Dining room. Front facing double room and a large twin room with wash hand basin. Family bathroom. There's also a separate WC with wash hand basin.

On the first floor is the king room. To the front a cosy single room with lovely views to the twin peaks of North and South Lee. Utility room on this floor that can be used for storing bags, boots or for airing laundry or wet clothing as it houses the hot water tank. New shower room with wc and fantastic views to the Harris hills.

Good quality linen and towels are included but if you wouldn't mind supplying your own beach towels that would be great.

There's a small garden to the front and a large garden to the side and rear. Ample drying area and ample parking. We have an old house which is ideal for storing bikes, canoes, fishing and other equipment. Also handy for those successful fishermen who want to prepare and fry their catches...

The Old House also houses the recycling bins and we are trying to do our bit to help make the Western Isles as 'green' as possible and the house pack will tell you more about this.
