On Saturday 26th April 2014 members of the Cromarty Bowling Club gathered to start the new season. Club Secretary, Evelyn Wilson threw the first jack of the year in front of the clubhouse with its freshly painted woodwork and sign. Food and refreshments were served to mark the occasion and then it was decided to postpone competitve play for a week to protect some newly-seeded patches of the green.
The Club's first competitve league fixture is a home match against North Kessock at 7 pm on Monday 19th May.
The club is normally open for play on Friday afternoons from 2pm; and Sunday afternoons from 2.30pm. Visitors are welcome. Visitors who wish to play at other times can often be accommodated by phoning the president or vice president to arrange for the clubhouse to be opened.
