Ranald Allan is an Inverurie loon, a former pupil of Inverurie Academy, a retired newspaper editor now self-employed in his own media consultancy business. Ranald is the founder and first editor of Inverurie's Connect business magazine.

With Connect magazine and now the connectinverurie website my team & I aim to fill a gap in local media coverage and, hopefully, assist local businesses in Inverurie get more established,he said.

CONNECT is the only local news publication, written, edited & designed in Inverurie.  It is printed by Langstane Press in Aberdeen.
