Last week at the meeting, Chris K, G4FZN and his wife Pauline, treated members to a visit by their "radio trailer." Chris and Pauline use this often for their competition work, but they kindly brought it along for the members to view and get some hands on. AJ, M0RKU, made a call using the club callsign GX3EKL. As nothing had been planned for the night, the trailer made a welcome visit to the club premises at Colburn Village Hall, even making use of the lighting that Chris has installed for the dark nights.
The next club meeting is to be held on Thursday the 17th. September, one day prior to its first anniversary. If you are interested in morse code, but haven't a clue how to key it or read it, Grahame G3XHB, will show you how to work CW without any knowledge of that!!! Come along and see how.
