This week's meeting on the 6th. August, is to open with an EGM. Would you please try and be present for this important event, for election to the roles of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. If you are unable to attend, you may vote By Proxy, sending an email or letter, assigning another member to vote on your behalf.The meeting should not take too long, and hopefully, the club radio should be set up, as most, if not all, the equipment is now available. At this stage, I am not sure who volunteered some coax, but if anyone could bring some, for setting up the radio, the club will pay for it. Should anyone wish to donate coax, I think they deserve a free week!
We are now approaching the club's first anniversary, and we would hope that we can increase the membership in its second year.
We also need new ideas for equipment, and any way to advance the club, as we are to apply for another grant.
