Nothing special had been planned for last night's club meeting, but members rallied round to create an entertaining evening using the club radio and chatting about various matters. An antenna has now been decided upon, and this is due to be used in the coming weeks, along with the new club sign G3EKL.
The website can now be accessed using the new URL, crdars.org, And gives the site a much more "professional" name.
At the next meeting on the 23rd. July, one of our members is due to take his foundation examination, and plans are afoot to commence an Intermediate course.
It has been suggested that the small area in between the two rooms at the hall, be used to site the Club's radio equipment, enabling members to use this on a regular basis while other members can use the main room to chat etc.
At the end of the month, wifi is due to be installed in the hall. However, the timing of this is dependant on the hall's management, but we are assured that it is due very shortly.
