The East Lothian Council (ELC) Cockenzie Masterplan is the result of the 2016 ELC Consultation with the communities surrounding the Cockenzie site and stakeholders.

The consultation was guidance from the Scottish Parliament Petitions Committee to ELC following acommunity petition against the energy park proposal of 2014.

The ELC Cockenzie masterplan captures the vision for the site held by our communities and is visionary, dynamic, future-proof and job
creating.

Three years after the ELC community consultation process, ELC continue to go against the wishes and aspirations of our communitiesand stakeholders by not formally adopting the masterplan, causing division, unrest and anger.
