Jonathan Clay, was born on 11 July 1987 the eldest son of Peter Clay and Penny née Hutson.

He was baptised at Stoke Trister Church and was educated at King Edward V1 School, Southampton.

In 2006 Jonathan started a BA degree course in Spanish and Arabic at Edinburgh University. In 2008 he switched a BA Degree in Spanish with History at Royal Holloway College. In 2009 he did the first year of an BSc degree in Landscape Architecture.  A motor bike accident interrupted this course.

Presently he is working at Solent University in a student support role.
