CHOCS ATHLETES SELECTED FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS

Four young Sutherland athletes have been selected to join

TEAM TULLOCH HIGHLAND

HIGHLAND DISABILITY SPORTS team attending the Special Oympics in Leicester this July. Sponsored by David Sutherland of Tulloch

Representing CHOCS are

Aaron Lacey - 15 from Lairg

Kevin Ferrier - 19 from Dornoch

Sean Fraser - 16 from Golspie

Steven Fraser - 12 from Dornoch

Ross Grainge - PE Teacher - Dornoch Academy & Principle Coach of CHOCS

Brian Fraser - Chairman of CHOCS & HDS assistant coach

Team Tulloch Highland consists of 85 athletes and 39 coaches and thanks to David Sutherland's kind sponsorship the cost per athlete has been reduced from £750 to £350 CHOCS will meet these costs along with a donation of £200 per coach.

The costs include travel, accomodation, kit and all meals for the duration of the games which run from 25th - 31st July 2009.

CHOCS will shortly begin fundraising to cover this expenditure.
