New SIGN Asthma guidelines

The Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) writes guidelines which give advice for healthcare professionals, patients and carers about the best treatments that are available.

They have produced a new booklet for adults who have or think they may have asthma. The booklet explains the recommendations in the guideline about how you can get assessed and diagnosed for asthma, and the approaches that can help after diagnosis.  It gives information about the care people are likely to get and can expect.  The booklet will also be of interest to partners, friends, family, carers and employers.

The link below will take you to the draft booklet and a consultation for feedback to the booklet.
