Contact a Family asked parents/carers to complete a survey about how the changes in the benefits system was affecting their day to day lives. Over 350 families in Scotland filled in the survey and you can see the results here.

It shows that of the families that responded:-

over a third are going without heating in Scotland
almost a third are going without food
over 60 per cent have suffered ill health as a result
21 percent say their child’s health has worsened.
