Who is Cheryl?

At the tender age of 4 years, Cheryl experienced her first Highland Dance class and hasn't stopped dancing since!

After achieving many awards through exams and competitions, Cheryl progressed to qualify as a United Kingdom Alliance Professional Teacher of Dance in 1996.

Cheryl furthered her studies at University where she achieved a BA in Business Administration.  

Whilst working full time in a number of youth based voluntary organisations, Cheryl's passion for dance and love of teaching was burning.  In February 2002 Cheryl founded her first dance school in Culloden.

Her commitment and passion for Highland dance was recognised and one year later Cheryl was approached to take on the Evanton Highland Dance School.  Cheryl jumped at the chance to go back to her home village and pass on her skills and knowledge proving that she is becoming a known face in the Highland wide community.  

Further classes commenced at Bun-sgoil Ghaidhlig Inbhir Nis in February 2009, with lessons progressively being taught bilingually.

Cheryl is Disclosure checked and continues to update and expand her personal, professional and teaching qualifications.  Today she lives in Inverness with husband Justin and 2 young children.
